So Wars #1 was from an adult's point of view and this next one is from a kid's point of view.
So here u go Wars(Part 2)
She stands by the wall which was
once her home,
She had a family before they were
killed by drones,
She’s too young to know what
happened,
All she remembers is a sound so
loud it nearly had her deafened.
Her body hurts and her clothes are
torn,
Tears flow down her eyes while
she quietly mourns,
Mother, father and brother lie
lifeless before her,
It’s too hard for a five year old
to believe that they are no more there.
She calls her mother as cries out
loud,
But nobody no more makes a sound,
Beside her mother she lies down,
Closes her eyes and wraps her
hand around.
I don’t know about glory and
heroes in war,
But wars sure do leave some solid
scars,
Broken homes, shattered dreams,
permanent tragedies, what can you say about it?
Just one question, is it all
really worth it?
