Wherever you go, I’ll be there.

 This poem's on NSA-National Security Agency,USA.
Wrote it after Edward Snowden exposed NSA of spying on their own citizens. Have a look!

You go to work, I look at you.
You drop your kids at school and I’m watching you.
While you work, I see you.
When you return home, I’ll be there for you.

Your laughs, your smiles, your tears, your cries,
I see them all.
Your kids, your wife, your friends, your foes,
I know them all.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not your lover.
Don’t be flattered, I’m not your admirer.
I get paid for it, I can’t stop.
All I’m doing is my job.

Who you meet, what you talk, what you do, who you call,
In my records I have it all.
Don’t worry it’s not just you,
But along with you there are a couple of millions too.

All your information saved in little files,
All we need to know in order to fit you in our nasty lies,
It’s fun actually to see you lesser beings strive,
So much effort to attain a perfect life.

One thing I promise you, I make it clear,
Wherever you go, I’ll be there.
More closer to you than your better half,
I’m gonna be there till death do us apart.

And when in our web we make you fall,
No longer will you be standing tall,
Just like the tragic stories that you’ve heard,
Rest assured, your perfect life will forever be scarred.

Oh human! Where Art Thou Brains?

Alright.. so I’m not gonna give a summary on this one. Check it out & let me know what message do you think it gives out.
Spoiler Alert: Gear in for a bit of sarcasm! ;)

Everybody wants to go to heaven,
Nobody wants to die.
Everybody wants to save the world,
Nobody wants to look inside their own house.

Everybody wants a happy marriage,
Nobody wants to try.
Everybody feels sympathetic towards oneself,
Nobody wants to walk in the other’s shoes.

Everybody wants justification when they are right,
Nobody wants a just system.
Everybody wants to compromise when they are wrong,
Nobody comes forward to confess their own fault.

Everybody wants to be treated right,
Nobody wants to speak a good word about another.
Everybody claims to stop the fight,
Nobody willing to quit hurting their own brother.

Everybody wants true love and,
Everybody wants a happy ending.
Searching for the right things in all the wrong places,
The answer’s right infront of you but you’re still wondering.

What sort of a world do we live in?
Where the sane are smothered and
The rules are made by the insane.
Oh human! Where art thou brains?

So far away

This poem is for my mother in law who passed away a few days back. Unfortunately I didn’t get enough time to get to know her very well but of how much little time I spent with her I know that she was one of a kind. So understanding and caring and she was more like a mother to me than a mother in law. And the one thing that she had told me which I always remember is “Never lose your self-confidence”.

So Far Away

How could I not realize?
So fast the days passed away,
Your smile, your laugh, your beautiful eyes,
And now I’m standing before you with nothing to say.

The times that we spent,
The moments that we had,
Seem now like an event of the past,
Reality, why do you make me so sad?

Oh how I wish I could go back in time,
Oh how I wish I could press rewind,
Oh how I wish I could be again nine,
But you’ve gone way ahead and left me behind.

Now as I stand here while you lie there,
All the memories I try to save,
With empty eyes and a shattered heart,
I’ll try to carry on, I’ll try to be strong.

I know you have to be gone,
Even if I try I cannot make you stay,
Time to say goodbye but I feel so torn,
Because you have to go so far away.

You left a legacy that will live on,
You’ll always be remembered even though your gone,
I know you’ll be there with me and I’m not alone,
Your place in my heart will never be taken by anyone at all.
